About Tammy Horton ( Harbasant Kaur),
Blessed mother of 3, Tammy has always had a deep passion for healing, health and wellness. As a native of Niagara, Ontario, Canada, she worked for years as a certified personal trainer, spin instructor and group fitness teacher. She obtained her degree from Brock University in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Clinical Nutrition and Community Health. She is also CSEP-PATH certified. With knowledge in fitness assessments and advanced program design.
She found yoga when she moved to South Florida in 2004 and discovered a deeper path she had searched for. She attended yoga school in 2015 obtaining her 200 hour in Ashtanga yoga with Urban Bliss Yoga School, she then completed another 200 hour in Heated Hatha yoga at Anuttara Yoga Shala, under Philip Christodolou, in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
A year later her training continued to Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan under Deva Kaur Khalsa in Davie, Florida. After completing a 700 hour course and practicum she began teaching a more inward centered yoga to her students. Finding balance inside and out became very inspirational to her. By deepening her own meditation practice she on focused creating a sacred space to heal on her own journey so that she could help others in turn.
She graduated from Dolores Cannon's QHHT program she offers past life regression hypnosis. And light crystal work with Litios light crystals. She also completed the EmotionCode Practitioner Course for helping to facilitate trapped emotions.
She graduated from IIN Integrative Nutrition Health Coach program under Joshua Rosenthal in 2018, with such inspiring teachers as David Wolfe, Deepak Chopra, Gabrielle Bernstein, Dr. Mark Hyman, Mark Sisson, Howard Lyman, Rubin Naiman, Sarah Wilson, Jennifer Esposito, Dr. William Davis, Kathie Swift, Libby Weaver, Liz Lipski, Dr. Robin Berzin, Dr. Christine Northrup, David Vitalis and many more.
She recently completed professional Gong Playing privately with Professor Ramji Singh of Germany and Spain, owner and founder of IES School of Sound Therapy and Spokesman for Meinl. She offers gong baths and individual gong sessions using many musical tools for healing. It is the future of medicine and so very powerful. It was a deep honor to train with such a talented musical teacher. She looks forward to using her musical training in the health and healing of her students.
She is certified in Children's Yoga with Kidding Around Yoga and taught at North Broward Preparatory School in Coconut Creek.
She is currently completing the NASM PT course in end 2022 to add three Personal Training certifications to her education.
Yoga changed her life for the better and it gives her great joy to educate others about this fantastic lifestyle of health and wellness and self-realization. Being able to guide others on their own journey through self awareness and love is her passion. She hopes to make every class or session inspiring and healing on all levels Physical, Mental and Spiritual. To Create a journey into your heart to find deeper meaning in all that we do.
